Toddles Big-Eye Doll
Big-Eye Toddles Pretty Portrait Doll with Original Outfit This pretty little Toddles doll is 11 inches tall. She resembles the Joy doll made by Royal Doll Company in Canada. This doll is considered one of the Big-Eye era dolls. She was made in the 1960's when the Big-Eye fad was beginning.
Uneeda used the Big-Eye Toddles in various doll series. One series was called Pretty-Portrait. She was named Tiny Toddles and Tiny Treasure. There was a Spy doll named -The Doll from U.N.E.E.D.A. - which was apparently a takeoff on the Spy from U.N.C.L.E. (a popular tv program in the 70's.)
So, this Big-Eye doll is a popular classic that was sold in the USA and Canada in various costumes.
Toddles is in good condition, lightly played with, may need a little cleanup. She has a vinyl head with a plastic body, arms and legs. She is jointed at hips, shoulders and neck. Hair is rooted.
