Pretty Portrait Doll
Pretty Portrait Doll with Flowered Country Dress. Made in 1966. The box is 17.5 x 11.5 x 3.5 and the box is in pretty good condition and still has what appears to be the original cello wrap.
She is approximately 11-12 inches tall and is jointed at neck, shoulders, hips (the usual joints.) Her dark brown hair is in good condition: brown curls with two pigtails, but it does look as if she has some bedhead from being in the box so long. I don't think she was played with.
This doll style was also sold in Canada as the Joy doll by Royal Doll Company. She is considered one of the Big Eye dolls of the 1960's. Uneeda sold her in many different playsets, including the Pretty Portrait series as well as Toddles doll and others.
