Uneeda AA Wispy Walker
Uneeda AA Wispy Walker 30-inch Country Maxi Dress 1976
This pretty walker doll is 30 inches tall. She is marked Uneeda Doll company and 1976 in Roman numerals. She is jointed at hips, shoulders and neck. Her hair is wavy and sidecombed neatly. I think she's supposed to have barrettes but I only had a rubber band to hold it. She has lovely amber eyes that are bright and pretty, with molded lashes. She has plastic body, arms and legs with a vinyl head and rooted hair.
The dress is apparently original: Uneeda did produce a whole series of Country Calico themed dolls in various sizes and styles during the 1970's. This would have been called a "Maxi-Dress" at the time, as opposed to the mini-dresses that were so short. She has been lightly played with and she's mostly clean: I don't have the facilities for refurbishing dolls anymore so we sell them as is. The photos show that she's very nice.
