Melissa Goes to Town, by Uneeda Melissa is very 70's, with her bright yellow coat dress, psychadelic neck scarf and knee-high go-go boots. She is in mint condition in her original box, which is also very good. Marks on her neck: Uneeda Doll Co Inc, 1970. The box says she was made in 1972 (Roman numerals MCMLXXII). Melissa is a walker doll. WALKING DOLL INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Stand doll in walking position. 2. Hold doll's left arm, tip doll to the right slightly and move forward. The left foot will step forward as the other remains on the floor. 3. Touch the left foot on the floor, tip the doll to the left and the right foot will step forward. 4. Repeat this motion and the doll will walk with you. Melissa is 19 inches tall. She has black curly hair with curly ponytails on each side of her head. She is a very attractive, very hip girl of the 70's. This isn't retro-reproduction: Melissa is the real thing! Prilly's vintage dolls are pre-owned. Please note this is not a new doll. Condition as described. Vintage dolls are likely to show their age even if they are in excellent condition.
