Jenni Doll 1968
Uneeda Jenni AA in Lavendar
Uneeda made three of these Jenni dolls: the AA doll in lavendar, a white-brunette doll in red, and a blonde wearing peach or tan. This AA doll is the rarest of the three. The gown is a southern belle style with deep lace ruffles for an ultra feminine look. The original box says they were part of a Showcase Collection.
Jenni is a slender doll with a slim, pretty face and big eyes. The gown is made of flocked fabric, which was popular in the 1960's. She is a little more than 15 inches tall, made of plastic with vinyl arms and head. She is jointed at hips, shoulders and neck. She has saran hair.
The neck is marked 61578, (c) Uneeda Doll Co, MCMXLXVIII. That is not a valid Roman numeral so it's hard to know what year it's supposed to be. Most likely it was the late 60's. Her dress has the donut snaps in back, which were typical of the Uneeda company.
