Betsy McCall 11.5" Doll by Uneeda
1960's with Original Cape Cod Outfit
This is a fashion doll size Betsy McCall doll from the 1960's, wearing her own original outfit of checkered knit jumpsuit with matching car coat and scarf, and her own original white shoes. The car coat is made of that faux velveteen which was so popular during the 60's. The tan color is uneven in places. The gingham jumpsuit is tan and red checks.
Arms and head are vinyl: body and legs are plastic. Red hair is rooted. Sleepy eyes work good, molded lashes, amber color is bright. Her vinyl head is faded a little, not as peachy as the body: but the face paint is still nice.
Doll has not been played with, I don't believe, because the hair still looks like new. But she's not pristine either, she's been laying around loose for more than 50 years so she's clean but not pristine.
This is a sweet doll, and she's hard to find - especially in this condition with original outfit, shoes and scarf.
