Pretty Eyes! Sayco or Uneeda Hard Plastic Walker
This is a large hard plastic walker doll with an especially pretty face. She is almost 22 inches tall and she has a walker mechanism: when her legs move, her head turns side to side. This doll is completely unmarked. She is listed in one of my doll books as an old Sayco doll.
She is a transitional doll, made with hard plastic and vinyl both, so she is most likely from the early 1950's. This pretty walker dolly is in excellent condition, almost like new. Blonde saran hair is rooted and shiny. Large eyes are gorgeous. She has all her lashes. Face paint is perfect. The dress may be original. Panties appear to be original. Her arms are strung jointed. She is all hard plastic except for the vinyl head.
Sayco Baby possibly had a mama-crier inside but if she did, it's not making any noise. Uneeda also used this doll face, so she could have been made and sold by Uneeda as well.
