Nancy Ann Storybook dolls were introduced in the 1930's and became a very popular collectible. They were bisque dolls at first and later on were made of plastic. They are small 6 inch dolls with very pretty little dresses and charming themes. Nancy Ann Storybooks were revived recently; the new dolls were designed by Diane Effner and are made of porcelain.
