Ideal Princess Mary
Ideal Princess Mary from the early 1950's is very sweet and pretty in her equally vintage gown that was altered to fit her. It may even be her original gown but the neckline did not fit. (I saw another Princess Mary with a gown that fit the same wrong way.) Her blonde saran hair is in a ponytail. Ideal's Princess Mary is very similar to the P90 Toni dolls, except that she is a walker with hip pin mechanism and turning head. Her body is hard plastic, and her head is vinyl with rooted hair. Sleep eyes. She is 16 inches tall. Her head is marked IDEAL DOLL V91 and her body is marked IDEAL DOLL 16. Princess Mary is an exceptionally lovely vintage doll. The dress is pale pink taffeta with a light blue sheer overlay that has a flocked floral pattern. She carries a little nosegay of paper flowers, and there is a pink ribbon in her hair.
