Vintage PittyPat doll by American Character has a real heartbeat (battery powered.) Her face is somewhat similar to that of Butterball, with the round head and watermelon smile. Her body is all vinyl and plastic (not Lastic Plastic like Butterball.) She has curly blonde rooted saran hair. The doll is jointed in the usual places at neck, shoulders and hips. Bent baby legs. Pittypat is taller than Butterball and can be a very elegant doll for display, as shown in the photos. I don't remember how tall this doll is exactly: I believe she is 20 or 21 inches.
