Sylvia Natterer designed several doll styles that were produced by the White Balloon company: babies, 11 inch dolls and 14 inch dolls with various hair colors. They are all vinyl dolls, jointed, with rooted hair. Sylvia Natterer also worked with Gotz and produced many more doll sizes and styles. When Gotz downsized she worked with Zwergnase for awhile.
White Balloon Doll company in Spain made very lovely artist dolls by Helen Kish, Sylvia Natterer, Marie Louise Shulz, Kids at Heart, Sandra Bilotto and others. Some of their dolls were sold through Paradise Galleries in the United States. White Balloon went out of business after the economy crashed in 2009; many doll companies shut their doors after the economic crisis.
