Clover 1970's 15 inch Mod Fashion doll by Uneeda
This is an attractive soft vinyl doll made in 1972 - the Roman numerals on the box say MCMLXXII. The series is Style 71510. She's a nice doll with a sweet face.
Clover was sold with different outfit on each doll: this ensemble seems to be the country Maxi-dress which was all the rage in the early 1970's. Yes, it's weird that the Country-style maxi-dress, the Dior colorblock dress and the mini-skirt with Gogo boots were all in fashion at the same time but that's the 70's.
Clover is 15 inches tall. She has blue eyes and pretty red hair. Obviously never played with. It's rare to find old dolls in their boxes - and we can always learn something about them when we do find a box. The box is often a good example of Art styles of the time, as well.
