Merry Trix on MERRY GO ROUND BOX - 1965 - Uneeda.
TRIX or BABY TRIX were names that Uneeda used a lot in the 1950s and 1960s. The First Baby Trix was a heavy babydoll with a hard plastic body and soft vinyl limbs and head. She evolved into many other doll styles after that.
In the early 1960's, Baby Trix was introduced in this foam body version in various sizes. This doll was made in 1965 when they made smaller versions of the foam body dolls. This doll is 12 inches long with a sculpted foam rubber body over a wire armature, so she can be bent and posed. Hands are vinyl and so is the head with rooted hair.
The box is especially cute, with it's Merry Go Round carnival cutouts and bright colors.
