Cuddlebun Honeybun LARGE full size babydoll 1950's Uneeda AO
This is a very special 1950's Cuddlebun or Honeybun babydoll made by the Uneeda doll company. She has her original taffeta dress and blue Uneeda box. The doll has the durable vinyl 1 piece body -- which was an improvement over the fragile latex 1 piece bodies that were offered in the late 1940's.
I don't know if the doll was offered as Cuddlebun or Honeybun. The 1950's vinyl dolls were made by the same moldmaker though so it's pretty much the same thing, no matter which company brand was on it.
Cuddlebun has those fabulous molded curls arranged in a ponytail. Sometimes there was a loop for tying a bow, but this doll has her original hair ribbon pinned on -- which was typical for the time. This doll is a generous 19 inch size. She is all vinyl with the 1 piece body and a wire armature inside so the legs can be bent for sitting.
Her taffeta dress is green and yellow: very sweet! Cuddlebun has the prettiest large blue sparkly eyes with full lashes.
Box measures 22 x 6 x 9. The lid is browned and fragile. One end has come off and the others are taped (not by me.) The blue box appears to be in good condition and is still very sturdy.
