Fabulous Baby Dollikin Blonde with GREEN EYES - 1957 Uneeda
Here is my favorite of all the babydolls of the 1957. Baby Dollikin is a favorite with many doll collectors, because she is beautiful and unusual. Baby Dollikin has extra joints at knees, elbows and wrists so she is very poseable. She is 21 inches tall. The fingers of her right hand are in the sign language position for I love you.
This Baby Dollikin is a blonde with clear, sparkly green eyes and perfect lashes. Her dress is not her own but is almost as old as she is. The dress is old store stock from the 1960's.
She is wearing vintage pink panties. And, we will give her new pink socks and white sandals when she goes to her new home.
This is a very nice Baby Dollikin doll. The vinyl color is good, the metal joints are in good shape with minimal rust. Her original face paint is very good. She is a sweet and lovely doll, very exceptional.
Baby Dollikin dolls are prone to having their arms fall off. This is a fault in the joint mechanism. This doll's arm fell off but I devised a very good method for restringing Baby Dollikin arms: so this doll has been repaired. She is as good as new. The arms are possibly even more flexible and poseable than original. (You can buy my Dollikin arm repair kit in my ebay store.)
All of the Baby Dollikins have swirls and ripples in the vinyl so this is not considered a flaw, if the vinyl has imperfections that were a result of the manufacturing process.
